The Church of Chris Martin

I didn't believe this until I saw it. At first, The Church of Chris Martin's website seemed like the rantings of a crazy person, obsessed with Coldplay. I personally can't stand Chris Martin or Coldplay one bit, so when I saw this website, I couldn't believe it was real. After spending some time reading, I got it. Chris Martin is a douche, and this site is dedicated to pointing that out at every turn.

"Many years ago, when Drobbingdon founded the Church of Chris Martin, Coldplay had just released AROBTTH. The album was filled with cries of hope for spiritual rebirth, and the expectation of a coming messiah. But two years later, they released X&Y, and the message had become one of salvation. At some point between the two albums, Chris Martin had become conscious of the fact that he was not waiting for a messiah, he WAS that messiah."

The banner at the top of the page has Chris Martin's face superimposed over a picture of Jesus, and reads, "There is one God, and Chris Martin is his prophet." I suggest you read the comments on the link I posted. They range from crazy to hilarious to taking this whole thing really, really seriously.
