The week in review

Thursday: Tried to go christmas shopping. My car died in vineville, and the wrecker blocked all three lanes during rush hour to get me towed. Catherine picked me up and we ate lunch and picked up tickets for Meiko's concert at the Cox.

Friday: Chris comes into town, and picks me up from the house. We return to his mom's place and had meatloaf and drank my homemade beers. Mychii and I had a good conversation while Chris's mom shows him around the new work on the house/yard. Watched some TV, and got a early Christmas present from Chris -- the Tijuana Brass's Christmas album on vinyl. The cover art is hilarious. Speaking of which, I left that in Chris's car. Need to get that back.

Saturday: Woke up at Chris's mom's house. Chris made breakfast. We drove back to Macon and chilled with Kirk for a while. I gave him his present (the titanium spork) and recommended that he put it on his keychain. He had a better idea: a leather carrying case. We played some smash, went out to lunch, and then met up with Matt, who has lost a shit load of weight, and has begun doing extensive research on such topics as DMT, 2012, supersensory experiences, etc. He knew about the machine elves and also told us about the insectoids and the benevolent figures, or whatever they were called (other beings that are commonly perceived on DMT).

They dropped me off at my house in time to get a shower and chill online a while before Catherine picked me up to go to a party in Warner Robins. Catherine was late due to dying her hair a nice shade of red. Its pretty hot, if I do say so myself. We got there bearing chips and salsa, and proceeded to get drunk. We had lots of fun in ways I'm not at liberty to discuss. We ended up staying the night in their living room (their spare bedroom was occupied). I had the love seat and Catherine took the couch at my request.

Sunday: I wake to find myself alone in the living room. I am not well rested. I eventually find Catherine in their baby's room, curled up and sleeping in his crib. Apparently I was snoring and did not respond to things being thrown at me. By now the guest room was free, and so we locked ourselves in there for most of the day. Fun was had that I am positive I'm not at liberty to to discuss. We fell asleep around 1 o'clock, and woke up some time later. We drove back to Macon and had sushi at Taki. We then retired to my room for a while later.

Monday: Spent the day at home. Catherine came by. Fun was had. Not at liberty to talk about it. Began to feel bad that I hadn't seen Chris in a couple of days. We went to Waffle house, and ran into someone that Catherine really didn't want to see. We went back to her house and I tried to cheer her up. She explained some things that I'd been given no answer on for some time. Knowledge is power. If I ever meet that guy in a dark alley, I might kill him.

Tuesday: Spent day cleaning and getting ready for the Meiko concert which also had Sonia Leigh, Nomenclature, and Red Fish Blue Fish. Found out that my car is practically dead. It needs a new engine, worth more than the car itself. Need to find a replacement. Catherine picked me up and we drove downtown. The concert was very good. Ran into some friends from school, as well as some folks I just know from around town. Danced to this hip-hop duo that I can't remember their name. They were good, I've heard them before a couple of places. Catherine can shake that ass on the dance floor. Enough said. Went back to my house and listened to Meiko's album a few times. Catherine spent the night.

Wednesday: Woke up with her in my arms. Great feeling. Feeling great. Mom was kind enough to not ask any questions. When did my mom get cool? Maggie came by and I took her to work to borrow her car. Finished my Christmas shopping just in time. Tried to hang with Chris, but he never picked up the phone. Got some tea at Starbucks and drove home after spending 45 minutes trying to get out of a Wal-Mart parking lot. Ridiculous. Came home and blogged. About to go pick Maggie up in a while.

This concludes my week. Please standby for further transmissions.
